Ever since I moved to New Orleans, I’ve started going on early afternoon walks to explore the city and get my mind off accounting for a little study break. Other than the sheer joy of taking a break from studying, my favorite part about these walks is getting to look at all the beautiful New Orleans homes.
Each house is so unique and tells a different story. And I noticed that several of them have unexpected accents; in particular, some of the cutest homes have unexpectedly-colored front doors or shutters. And much to my surprise, I’ve become a little partial to it! I know it’s a little out there, but you have to admit that it is definitely a fun and different way to add character to a home. I also like the idea of having interior doors painted as well: maybe for a study or office? What do you think? too out there for you or something you would maybe consider?
