3 Ways to Style a Crop Top

Hey, friends! I feel like it’s been a minute since I did a style post, so that’s what I’m bringing you today! Maybe you’ve noticed in my Stories lately, but I am all about a good crop top. You can dress them up or down, with strappy sandals or with sneakers. Plus I love wearing high waisted anything, which goes PERFECTLY with crop tops. With all of that said, I thought it might be helpful to share a few of my favorite ways to style crop tops. The possibilities are endless, but I narrowed it down to three looks for y’all.

But wait, where do I find the majority of my crop tops? Nordstrom! Nordstrom is my go-to for pretty much everything, but I love their selection of summer tops right now. Like this yellow smocked and cropped (two of my favorite things!) option – SO cute, right? Or if you want something classic that can go with anything, I love this basic cream tank (it also comes in black and white). Tons of good options and I linked everything below for y’all, but let me dive into my ideas for styling first!

Active

I’m calling this look active because I’m wearing joggers and the crop is Adidas LOL, but I decided to dress it up a bit more with these sandals. This look could also easily be styled with sneakers too if that’s more your thing. Anyway, I love this crop top with joggers because it’s comfortable and easy to just throw on. Kinda an elevated athleisure vibe with the dressier sandal. This is something I’d work from home in, run an errand in or even go on a walk.

Denim

Wearing a crop top with denim is one of my all-time favorite looks so I knew I had to put a really good outfit together for y’all on this one. These jeans, which are also from Nordstrom, are amazing!! I’m obsessed with the high waist, which I’ve learned is the most important thing to pay attention to when styling jeans with a crop top. I like to go for something extra high so I don’t have too much mid-section on display. They go perfectly with the length of my yellow crop tank!

Casual cute

And finally, I put together a look that I think is great for a casual date night or a drink with a friend. I’m obsessed with these bottoms right now because they look like a skirt but they’re actually really comfy and flowy shorts! You can wear a crop top that meets the waist of the shorts like I did in this tank, or you can we a crop tee that you could just barely tuck in (be careful with longer tees because they can cause bulk).

Which look is your favorite?!
