If there’s one cleaning task I do on the reg, it’s vacuuming/mopping. I vacuum at least every day if not multiple times a day, and I try to mop at least once a week, but that whole process used to take me way too much time.
So, when someone shared the Tineco Floor ONE S3 wet dry vacuum cleaner on IG, I was intrigued. If I’m being honest, I assumed there was no way it could work on both wet and dry messes, but I decided to give it a shot and ordered it through Amazon. (Easy return, right?) I mean, the idea of not having to use a separate mop had me in if nothing else.
Once I tried the vacuum, it honestly surprised me. Is it a perfect vacuum/mop? No. But it does exactly what I need to. And the mess it picks up is equal parts disgusting and satisfying at the same time.
So, I figured I’d share my thoughts on the Tineco Floor One S3 vacuum for those of you who might be interested. If nothing else, I know I read a ton of reviews before I pulled the trigger, so I thought some honest feedback might be helpful.
My Review of the Tineco Floor ONE S3 Vacuum
1. The Tineco Wet-dry vacuum removes the need for mopping
I found the biggest benefit of this vacuum is that I didn’t have to drag my mop out any time I wanted to really clean my hardwoods. I don’t care how “updated” mops have become, they’re still a huge beating. And honestly, I love that this vacuum lifts wet and dry debris so you don’t have to vacuum first. Once you see the dirty water inside the canister, you’ll want to use this vacuum every day (or at least I did). The water truly is disgusting, and the amount of “stuff” it picks up after I think my floors were at least somewhat clean is disgusting.
2. It’s super user-friendly
I grew up using the most basic vacuum ever — aka plug in, move over carpet, empty bag. Like, no charging, no monitor, no app, etc. When I read about the “tech” this vacuum has, it made me a little nervous. But I’ve been really happy with how easy it is to use. Once the vacuum is charged, you literally just fill the canister with warm water and soap and turn it on. You actually barely even have to push it.
3. The battery life is surprisingly long
The Tineco wet-dry vacuum has a battery life of 35 minutes. That may not seem long, but I actually found it gave me plenty of time to get my floors clean. What’s nice is that there’s a screen at the top of the vacuum that tells you how much battery you have (and let you know the water low) so you can wrap it up quickly if you’re getting close to running out of battery.
Are There cons of the tineco floor one s3 vacuum?
Of course. Just like any tool you use, there are going to be things you don’t love. My biggest complaint about this vacuum s that it doens’t work great on rugs. It ends up leaving too much moisture. I love using my Bissell vacuum when it comes to rugs. The Shark vacuum is perfect for picking up crumbs or getting the counters clean too.
Overall though, this vacuum lives up to its hype. You’ll have to purchase filter replacement parts and the cleaning solution once you run out. I did find that I needed to replace the filter fairly quickly when I was using it every single day, but now that I’ve slacked a bit on my vacuuming (whoops), it’s lasted a bit.
