5 Things I’ve Been Loving Lately
Good morning friends and happy Monday! I thought I’d switch it up today and instead of talking about my outfit, I wanted to share 5 (very random) things I’ve been loving lately. Talking about clothes is fun (most of the time), but sometimes I just don’t feel like it (aka today) and would rather talk about anything but. Plus, I’m hoping that the list of 5 things I share below will be more a better conversation-starter than merely talking about this outfit. Am I right? Easy Dress & Boots + Equinox Resort in Manchester, VT
During our most recent NE road trip through Vermont and down to Connecticut, we made a stop in Manchester for a few nights (city guide coming soon!). It was hard to pick which towns we wanted to visit along our trip but we knew we FOR SURE wanted to make a stop here, stay at the Equinox Resort and take an afternoon to do the Land Rover Experience (blog post coming next week!). I had some friends stay at the Equinox a few years ago and I’d heard nothing but wonderful things about it – especially during late September and early October when the leaves are just starting to change!

Red Plaid Scarf
Now that we are fully into the holiday season, I think incorporating red in any and every way possible is socially acceptable and even sometimes expected! Am I right?! And this red plaid scarf adds JUST the right amount of holiday cheer – especially when paired with this red and white striped tee. Right?!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but there’s just something about wearing red during this time of year that just feels (and looks) on cue. As such, I try to add a little bit of festive flair in any and every way I can during these few weeks leading up to Christmas.
In this outfit, I added a touch of red and white stripes under this navy sweater to jazz things up. I’ve been really enjoying playing around with different colored stripes and layering them different ways. I just added these red stripes to my collection and think it’s a necessary holiday staple. Oversized Plaid Blanket Scarf
I’m loving the colors in this oversized plaid blanket scarf I got from ASOS. With so many great fall colors in the fabric, it’s easy to mix and match different colored sweaters with it to create several different looks. And then I love how well the color of my york tote matches it as well 🙂

Navy Swing Dress
Hi there! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was writing the date down yesterday morning and realized…wow okay so we are halfway through November. Like, wait WHAT?! Where did 2015 go?! #crazyness
Anyway, here I am again in yet another swing dress. yes I love them very much if you can’t tell. But can you blame me?! They’re just so stinkin’ easy and I absolutely LOVE how they look with a fun and festive blanket scarf – it might just be one of my favorite looks ever (aside from an oversized sweater and skinnies – you know that’s my go-to and comfort zone).
