Before I talk myself out of doing it, i’m just going to close my eyes and press publish!! In my defense, when i bought this top, I THOUGHT my jeans would be a “higher rise” and would  only show a LITTLE bit of my midriff, but apparently I overestimated their rise. As a result, it looks as if I’m basically wearing a bikini top and jeans!! You should know that I wouldn’t usually wear this to anything but MAYBE a music festival? But even still, I’d probably be super self-conscious, wondering if I could pull it off the whole time. Regardless, I fell in love with the print of the top. and it comes with a matching high-waisted skirt (that hopefully covers more than my jeans :)).

Despite the fact that this outfit didn’t quite work out as I had planned, I’m still obsessed with this jeans. Even though J. Brand was awesome enough to “gift” them to me, I can honestly say that I would DEFINITELY have bought them on my own. Twice. They are a great fit and have just the right amount of stretch to where you feel secure but not uncomfortable. If you’re looking for a good high-waisted groovy-ish look, I’d definitely check out the hazel cut by J. Brand. :)

In fact, the model wears both of them together in the Anthro mag, and she looks AMAZE!
