Where did the week go? Wow, but really though I feel like last week went by SO FAST. And I still can’t believe it’s already May….even though we’re already a solid 9 days in.
I was a little distracted this past week because I’ve been doing SO MUCH admin stuff (cough cough CRAP) and just trying to make sure I have all my ducks in line when it comes to running this here little blog as a business (since although it sometimes doesn’t feel that way…it is) and then also dealing with my 2015 taxes. I got an extension (obvi) because I knew it would take me a decade to get everything together and I was right…I’m still not done (UGH).
And then I got a little carried away (#typical) planning summer travels and figuring out what I’m doing and where I’m going. Is it just me or does planning travel take FOREVER?! Maybe I’m slow? I think I easily spent 8 hours this past week just browsing around the inter-webs trying to figure out transportation, lodging, etc.
But in other news, I FINALLY posted my bedroom post and I’m so excited to finally get to share it with you all. The project took like 6 months longer than I expected (lol…..but really though). So needless to say, I’m thrilled (!) to be done with that one. Did you catch the post? What did you think?!

Like I mentioned in my caption when I posted this picture, I needed an Olivia Pope-sized glass of wine for an OP-sized inbox. I spent an hour or so tackling my inbox earlier this week…I think I was answering emails from as far back as October. I don’t know how people do it? I can’t keep up! And I’m usually on the go when I see emails so I don’t want to respond on my iPhone because I wanted to actually have a thoughtful response, but I’m starting to think it might be better just to respond with a short response than none at all. Because in reality, I never get back to it – despite my intentions.

found out that one of my fave transitional dresses from last summer is BACK in stock 🙂 (I’m wearing Petite XXS and it still fits oversized as you can kind of see. It’s a great throw on for running errands or dress it up like I did here for lunch with friends!)
