We’re halfway through February and March is JUST around the corner….and hopefully warmer temps, right?! In the meantime, I’m doing all I can to liven up my winter outfits with bright colors and bits of Spring. I never really let the time of year limit the colors I wear, BUT if you’re one to be a bit hesitant to wear brights when it’s below 50 degrees outside, cobalt is the perfect compromise. It’s still fun and bright, yet doesn’t scream SPRING like bright orange or yellow. And I paired it with leather leggings and leopard pumps to ‘winterize’ the outfit. Obviously, you’d have to wear a big, warm coat (I wear this one almost everyday! Obsessed!) with this but the idea was that you’d wear this one to go out 😉
And if leather leggings aren’t your thing, this would look just as great with black skinnies – I absolutely LOVE these (and wear them ALL the time if you haven’t noticed…) because they’re high-waisted and stretchy (and just fit well)!
I want to mention that I LOVE this cobalt blue silk top. It comes in regular AND petite sizes and is available in several colors. I’m actually wearing the regular size XS because the petite arm holes were too tight for me (or just for my comfort – I like the arm holes a little bigger in general). Here’s why I Love it: I like the length (a little longer), the price (duh!), the high neck with mesh detail, and the curved hem. It also comes in a bright yellow, black, white, and an emerald-ish green color and is $69 (pretty reasonable if you ask me!).
