I mean...do I even need to comment on the cute-ness of this dress? And it's $52. Yeah. I know, right? John 1:1 – The Word

Some of you were asking about how I spend time with the Lord and what it 'looks' like (e.g., what I read, what I write, what I think about, how I pray, etc.) And in an effort to give you a little glimpse into this part of my life, I thought I would share this simple yet exciting experience that came from reading the first chapter of John. My quiet time always looks different - sometimes it's stale, sometimes it's super short and then sometimes (responsibility permitting) it can last all day long. This particular experience, as you'll see, was more of a learning/discovery journey for me.

Feeling super preppy over here in my hot pink and scallops, but then again I'm a big supporter of (mostly) all things prepster. But let's talk about this skirt y'all, I LOVE it and am so tempted (!) to buy it in the black. It's rare that I find a skirt that I love a lot, but this one is great. The only thing is that it runs a little small; I'm wearing a US size 2 but I think it's too tight (I would go up to US size 4 if I were to buy again...but I ordered online and was too lazy to exchange...ha)

Little Pink Dress

I love this dress so much I might have to get in both colors! I don't know what it is, but it just fits SO well and has just the right amount of 'flounce' - if you know what I mean?! I love the detailing in the hem and how it's a little asymmetrical too! There are adjustable straps for if you're taller or shorter (pretty sure I have them on the tightest option possible!) and it's lined so you don't need to worry about it being see-through either. All in all, it's a GREAT dress :) I'm wearing size XS for reference.

This past week has been a busy one! I spent most of the week in Charlotte visiting my friend Caitlin (you'll see her in one of my photos below!). I was there for two full days, but I feel like we didn't have enough time to hand out! Needless to say, I'm already planning my next trip (ha!).
