Hello hello hello and happy Monday friends! I'm back with another BTD WEEKLY round up from the past week. It was a pretty basic week and nothing too out of the ordinary...aka just another week in Dallas. But I will say that I did a TON of admin stuff and foundation-building things that don't really count for the immediate present but are necessary for the future of BTD. I usually let these things build up over time and then they end up taking way more time and energy than necessary....but I guess that's the nature of the procrastination beast, right?!
Since the very beginning of this whole room-redecorating journey, I intended to share as much as possible with you all. In fact, I actually decided to redo my bedroom so that I could share it with you. I figured it would be a great opportunity to branch out and share different types of content that you all might find interesting. If you missed it, I shared the 5 reasons I decided it was time to redecorate my bedroom a few weeks ago and now I'm going to explain my process and HOW I did it. Rather than simply sharing my personal experience, I wanted to take it a step further and turn what I learned into a resource for YOU that could potentially help or inspire you with your own decorating adventures (so you can keep this one in your back pocket!). I recently sat down and considered my entire journey since October (about 6 months ago) and was able to detail out 7 general steps to decorating a bedroom that anyone should consider. Apologies for the late post - it's almost 11 AM here! But this weekend was pretty jam packed and I didn't really have much time to work! Also, my roomies and I had friends over last night and made home-made pizzas so that activity definitely won the battle of whether I should hole up in my room and work or hand out with them (obviously!). I've got a major love affair with this dress and I'm going to tell you all about it today. Not only does it comes in multiple (!) different colors but it's also under $50 - talk about a WIN. With 3/4 length sleeves and a not-too-low v-neck, this dress can easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories. It's perfect for throwing on to run around town - I love how flowy and easy it is and it looks super cute with sandals. But then you could also throw on some statement earrings or necklaces and heels to dress it up for an event or date night. All in all, it's a GREAT dress and I've been loving it!
