Striped Tee

If I had to narrow down my closet to just a few things, a classic striped tee would 100% make the list. The truth is, though, that I think I have about 17+ different versions of your classic striped tee, all in varying lengths,  stripe thickness, and sleeve length. But I truly think that if they’re all different, then each and every striped shirt I add to my wardrobe serves a different purpose. Therefore, I don’t feel bad continuing to add more stripes! This is also a wardrobe essential that carry you throughout the seasons as it can easily be accessorized and layered for different seasons. I’m recommending the one I wear the MOST often year-round for you!

I wrote this post as one of my very first style posts about work style after getting many requests from my readers for more work-inspired outfits. For this post, I talked about how to incorporate trends at work. When I worked as a CPA at a public accounting firm, I was always looking for ways to push the envelope with my outfits. But in an inappropriate way of course; I just wanted to still express myself through my sense of style, without being confined to black pants and white tops! This is an example of an outfit I would have worn to work! I still love it today! This outfit is old, but if you’re looking for something similar, here are a few suggestions: I love statement necklaces from Baublebar, fitted (tailored) blouses from Ann Taylor (the perfect shirt is amazing!) and I always have good luck finding midi-style skirts at ASOS.
