THIS LOOK: LEATHER, FLORAL PRINT, AND MOTO

leather and floral casual lookthis look 2

club monaco floral print blazer // floral print cameron blouse //  leather shorts // Jenny Kayne d’orsay flats  // floral print pants (sold out – sad!)  // Ramona moto jacket // (see more options for D’Orsay flats, motto jacket, and floral pants after the “jump”)

There’s just something about the shorts & blazer combo that I can’t get enough of. And when I’m not working (because this would definitely NOT fly in the office), I’ve noticed this little ensemble to be my go-to on the weekends lately. Especially since the weather has been moody and inconsistent; the blazer is the perfect form AND function addition when you anticipate a little chill, but not enough for full on fall/winter attire. Yeah, so you should try it.

It’s awesome–super sophisticated and mega chic. Right? (oh boy, I’m starting to sound like an over enthusiastic valley girl…) Ok but, going back to this particular look (like, on the model above), did you notice that it single handedly (if that’s possible/makes sense?) incorporates 3 different trends in a seamless and I’m-not-trying-too-hard-kind-of way (shorts & blazer combo, d’orsay flats, leather, AND floral print) And now for the second look. I’ve been crushing (majorly) on moto jackets lately, and have actually had my eye on this same jacket (but in burgundy) since maybe September. But even though Spring is around the corner, I feel like given the right material and weight, you could rock a moto jacket all the way into the beginning of summer (depending on where you live, of course).
