The fourth of July is such a fun and EASY holiday to dress for because you’ll most likely be one of three casual places: a parade, a BBQ, or a pool/beach! Over the past few weeks I have styled the following looks that are perfect for the 4th. Even if you have low key plans for the holiday – these looks are ideal for all summer long!
White Button Up + Red Scarf + Denim Shorts
I love this classic look – red, white and blue with elements you can wear 1,001 ways. These shorts are my favorite and I have them in black, white and a lighter wash, too! I also wear this button up in many different outfits so it’s a super versatile addition to your wardrobe.
Printed Skirt + White Crop Tank + Wrap Sandals
I’m in love with this skirt and also have it in the floral print, can’t stop wearing it. This look is perfect for a BBQ outside because it’s light and breezy for those hot summer temps!
Chambray Skirt + Ruffle Bodysuit + Straw Bag
Also a super breezy look, I love the ruffle detail on this bodysuit and the chambray skirt can be styled so many different ways!
Red Smocked Tank + White Denim Shorts + Star Statement Earrings
This look made me feel like a firework! White shorts make you look more tan & the smocked detail of this top is super comfy for eating all the party snacks. I’m also in love with these sandals because they have light tan, medium tan and metallic details so they go with EVERYTHING.
Navy & White Striped Dress + Belt Bag
I wore this look in Portugal but still think it would be a great 4th of July look since the dress is navy. Also, the dress would be appropriate for work since it’s a midi-length. Question – do we like belted bags? I think they are super chic if done right, this one is really versatile and I love the braided detail!
Chambray Button Up + White Denim Shorts + Wrap Sandals
Classic look – I love every element of this look – all my favorite pieces. Should I do a styling video where I style this top a bunch of different ways? LMK in the comments!
White Bodysuit + Red Scarf + Wedges
I am OBSESSED with this bodysuit. While styling this look I realized it is double lined in bodice and I fell even more in love. It’s super soft and comfy so you won’t feel constricted in the summer heat. I also love how I tied the scarf for this look, you could rock this at a music festival or concert, too!
Denim Skirt + White Tank + Denim Jacket
My 4th of July version of a Canadian Tuxedo. You could add a scarf or a fun headband/earrings to this look and really make it patriotic. But I love this tank and can’t stop wearing it – a staple in my closet for sure.
White Tie Front Dress + Denim Jacket + Nude Wedges
I love the tie front detail of this dress and these wedges are a super easy option to give some height to a more casual look. I always love throwing on a wedge sandal to elongate my legs!
Chambray Button Up + White Shorts + Yellow Scarf
I can’t stop styling these silk scarves and I get so much inspo from others on IG as well. I love Natalie Borton’s version of how she styles her scarves – check her out! These sandals have also been on repeat for me cause they go perfectly with every look and are super comfy.
White Cami + White Shorts + Red Statement Earrings
Love an all white look because it makes you look tan without as much self tanner, we all know that struggle – ha! This cami and short pair is one of my favorites because you can dress it up or down with accessories and just have fun with it!
